Update: iOS 9.1 and OS 10.11
With each new release of an operating system (OS) we recommended that clients hold off on updating until we feel that Apple had released a more stable version. With the release 10.11 we are taking a look at how this OS works with current applications. If your company is interested in finding out if 10.11 will work with your current applications please contact us before moving forward with the update. Over the next few weeks we will be contacting you to schedule updates and discussing how CirrusPro will handle these updates in the future.
For iPhone users if you’ve already updated your device to iOS 9, or if you’ve recently purchased the new iPhone 6s (or the larger variant, the 6s+), we ask that you check your device to confirm that you’re running iOS 9.1. You can find the version of iOS your device is running by going into the Settings app, tapping General, then tapping About. Halfway down the screen you’ll see what version of iOS is running on your iPhone or iPad.
To update to iOS 9.1, go into the Settings app, tap General, then tap Software Update. iOS 9.1 will run on all iPhones as far back as the 4S and newer, and on all iPads as far back as the iPad 2 and the original iPad Mini. We do strongly recommend backing up your iPhone or iPad before applying the update.
