At the helm of Cirrus Partners as President and CEO, Benjamin Morales leads with a combination of philosophical depth and technological expertise. His career at Cirrus Partners has seen him flourish in diverse capacities - from a hands-on technician to an innovative Chief Technology Officer, before rising to the CEO role.

Benjamin’s approach to IT consulting demonstrates an inquisitive mindset and a commitment to aligning technological solutions with client strategies.

Benjamin’s journey into IT began unconventionally during his college days. While pursuing academic interests in philosophy and language, he found a natural affinity for computing, excelling in tech-centric roles. A significant early achievement was his instrumental role at Student Life, where he spearheaded the development of a Drupal-based digital platform, transforming the college newspaper from print to a profitable online entity. His penchant for technology also led him to volunteer with nonprofits and counseling organizations, enhancing their operations through web technologies.

Post-graduation, Benjamin ventured into education, initially teaching history and English in Washington State. His school’s administration identified his technological capacity, and he soon found himself teaching STEM subjects, including algebra, physical science, computational thinking, hacking, and biology.

A turning point came when Benjamin addressed the school’s IT security vulnerabilities, leading to his appointment as Director of Technology, Media, and Communications. In this role, he overhauled the school’s IT infrastructure, introduced cloud-based SIS and LMS technologies, and implemented a 1:1 student-to-device program. He also introduced remote learning capabilities before they became necessary during COVID-19.

Benjamin’s transition to Wisconsin marked a significant career pivot from education to IT, starting as an entry-level technician. His expertise and leadership skills saw him swiftly climb the ranks. His background in Linux proved invaluable, and he began to devise solutions that bridged technical implementation with business strategy.

In 2021, Benjamin assumed the CEO role as Cirrus' Founder began transitioning into retirement. During this time, Benjamin focused on culture, security, and stability. Since acquiring the business in late 2023, he has been steering the company toward more sophisticated IT governance, continual operational improvements, and strategic growth.

Reflecting his love for philosophy, Benjamin’s approach to IT consulting demonstrates an inquisitive mindset and a commitment to aligning technological solutions with client strategies.

Outside the office, he cherishes time with his wife, Rachel, and their sons, enjoying the outdoors, home projects, and relaxing with a good book or movie.
